§ 17-4. Ponds and lakes.

  • It is unlawful for any person to build, construct, erect or maintain any pond or lake within the city limits or within 300 feet of the city limits without first obtaining a permit from the county administrator or his designee. The application for a permit shall be in writing, setting out the legal description of the property where the pond or lake is located, the owner of the property, the person who will have charge of the pond or lake, and the purpose for which it will be used. Such a permit shall be issued upon a showing that there will be compliance with all applicable ordinances.
