§ 18-137. Equal opportunity in employment.

It shall be the policy of the unified government to assure equal opportunity and encouragement to every citizen, regardless of race, religion, color, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin or ancestry, in securing and holding, without discrimination, employment in any field or work or labor for which the individual is properly qualified. The opportunity to secure and hold employment is the civil right of every citizen.
