§ 19-249. Notices.

  • Whenever a notice is required to be sent to or served upon the licensee of a rental dwelling under this article, notice shall be deemed sufficient if sent by first class mail to the owner or owner's designated agent at the address specified in the last license application filed under section 19-229. Notice may also be sent to the person identified as responsible for the maintenance and management of the premises. If the dwelling unit is not licensed pursuant to this article, notice is deemed sufficient if sent by first class mail to the person listed with the county for the purposes of paying taxes on the property. Notice so mailed is sufficient whether actually received or returned.
