§ 1-14. Individual liability for corporate crime.

  • (a)

    An individual who violates an ordinance or resolution, or causes such act to be performed, in the name of or on behalf of a corporation is legally responsible to the same extent as if such acts were in the person's own name or on the person's own behalf.

    (b)

    An individual who has been convicted of an ordinance or resolution violation based on conduct performed by the person for and on behalf of a corporation is subject to punishment as an individual upon conviction of such ordinance or resolution violation, although a lesser or different punishment is authorized for the corporation.
