§ 23-6. Same—Compensation.

The compensation of the judges of the municipal court shall be fixed by the unified government board of commissioners in the same manner as the compensation of all other unified government employees is set and shall be included as a part of the unified government overall pay plan. Compensation or other financial benefits of the judges shall not be diminished during their term of office, except to the degree of such a reduction across-the-board for all employees of the unified government. The unified government board of commissioners shall annually review the salary and benefits of the judges during the budget process. The judges shall be eligible for all unified government employment benefits the same as exempt employees.
