§ 25-41. Definitions.

The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

Bicycle is every device propelled by human power upon which any person may ride, having two tandem wheels, either of which is more than 14 inches in diameter.

Director means the director of parks and recreation.

Park means a park, reservation, playground, recreation center or any other area in the city, owned or used by the city, and devoted to active or passive recreation.

Vehicle means every device upon or which any person or property is or may be transported or drawn upon a highway, except devices moved by human power or used exclusively upon stationary rails or tracks. The term "vehicle" does not include a vehicle in the service of the city parks.
