§ 27-51. Members, officers and meetings.

(a)

The board of zoning appeals shall be composed of the members of the planning commission of the unified government.

(b)

The board of zoning appeals shall annually elect one of its members as chairman. The board shall adopt rules in accordance with the provisions of this article. Meetings of the board shall be held at the call of the chairman and at such other times as the board may determine. The board shall keep minutes of its proceedings, showing evidence presented, findings of facts by the board, decision of the board and the vote upon each question. Records of all official actions of the board shall be filed in its office and shall be a public record.

(c)

While the members shall serve both the planning commission of the unified government and the board of zoning appeals they shall hold a separate meeting, which may be of a time of their choosing, as the board of zoning appeals.
