§ 27-113. Membership.

  • (a)

    The landmarks commission shall be composed of 11 members. The members shall be residents of the county at the time of their appointments and thereafter for the duration of their terms. The members of the commission shall at all times include one architect, one real estate broker or appraiser, one officer of a mortgage lending institution, and one person with training or experience specifically in the fields of history, architectural history or historic preservation.

    (b)

    The county administrator or the administrator's designee may serve as an ex officio member and may not vote, but shall assist the commission in performing its functions and provide such staff support as may be necessary.
