Where healthy plant material exists on a site prior to its development and where such
is not damaged by site development procedures, such plant material may be credited
toward the minimum number specified for each zoning category. Such existing plant
material must, however, be in keeping with the intent of this division. This will
be determined by its type, size, and location as noted in the required landscape plan.
