§ 2-4. Two service districts and their areas.

The unified government shall, within the geographical limits thereof, comprise two service districts, to wit: A general county service district and city service district, as to both of which districts the unified government shall have jurisdiction and authority. The general county service district shall consist of the total area of the unified government, the same being the total area of Wyandotte County. The city service district shall consist of the total area of the City of Kansas City, Kansas, as of October 1, 1997.
