§ 2-123. Property rights, contracts, obligations, causes of action and legal proceedings continued.

  • All legally enforceable rights and titles to property, all legally enforceable nonvoidable rights and obligations under contracts or trusts, and all valid causes of action of any kind in any court or tribunal vested in the City of Kansas City, Kansas, or the County of Wyandotte or in any officer or employee thereof in his official capacity, at the time the Charter becomes effective, as well as all enforceable liabilities in contract or tort and causes of action involving the same insofar as they affect the City of Kansas City, Kansas, or the County of Wyandotte or any officer or employee thereof in his official capacity which shall be outstanding at the time the Charter becomes effective, shall continue without abatement or modification by reason of any provision of the Charter.
