§ 102. Adoption of rules of procedure; exceptions.

Latest version.

These rules of procedure shall be in effect upon adoption by the board of trustees:
a.

Items not specifically covered in these rules of procedure shall be decided by the presiding officer based upon the provisions of Robert's Rules of Order. [Newly Revised] revised edition, with assistance from the attorney where necessary;

b.

Any rule of procedure may be suspended temporarily for a particular purpose by a majority vote of the members present, provided such suspension is not contrary to the provisions of Kansas law, local ordinances or resolutions; and

c.

Any rule of procedure may be amended by a majority vote of the members present, provided notice has been given on the agenda of such intended action to amend.
