The city hereby extends the benefits of title II of the Federal Social Security Act,
in conformity with the applicable provisions of such act, to certain employees of
the city, according to the provisions of K.S.A. 40-2301 et seq., in accordance with
and under the terms of the plan of coverage agreed to by the city commissioners and
executed by the mayor on June 26, 1951, which was approved by the state department
of civil service on July 2, 1951, and a copy of which is on file in the office of
the city clerk.
