No person shall be employed by the unified government if that person's spouse, child,
sibling or parent is the mayor/chief executive officer (CEO), a unified government
board of commissioner, or an employee in or assigned to the office of the mayor/chief
executive officer (CEO) unified government board of commissioners, the unified government
administrator, except that no person employed by the unified government prior to the
adoption or substantive amendment of this provision shall be terminated for a violation
of this section and, provided further, that no person employed by the unified government
and becoming the spouse of another unified government employee after employment of
both by the unified government shall be terminated for a violation of this section.
