Unless specifically provided or required by federal, state or local law, no person
appointed to any agency, board, committee or commission created by or under the authority
of the unified government, shall receive any compensation for said service. Nothing
herein shall prohibit the unified government from specifically authorizing or providing
for the reimbursement of reasonable expenses.
