§ 2-461. Creation.

(a)

The existing public building commission as originally established by Ordinance No. 47223, adopted July 11, 1968, and codified formerly in this section is hereby abolished, and a public building commission is hereby created as an agency of the unified government pursuant to the authority granted in K.S.A. 12-1757 et seq.

(b)

That all existing contracts and other legal obligations shall continue in force and the rights of the former public building commission shall inure to the benefit of the public building commission herein created.
