§ 30-12. Privies, cesspools, etc.

(a)

No person shall construct or maintain within the city any privy, privy vault, cesspool, or other facility intended or used for the disposal of any human or animal excrement or other objectionable waste except as provided in article VII of this chapter.

(b)

When a sewer connection is not required by section 30-61, plumbing fixtures may be connected with a private on-site wastewater system in a location approved by the health officer and all private on-site wastewater systems must be constructed in accordance with the provisions of article VII of this chapter.
