§ 30-67. Prohibited connections.

  • (a)

    No privy, septic tank, vault or cesspool shall discharge directly or indirectly to a sanitary sewer. When a connection is made with a sewer, any vault, cesspool, or septic tank on the premises must be completely pumped out by a licensed septic hauler, then crushed, broken up and filled with earth or sand to ground level.

    (b)

    Break-in or illicit connections are not allowed. No connections to interceptor sewers, manholes, force mains, pump stations and, low pressure sewer systems are allowed without engineered plans approved by the director and permission from the director.
