§ 32-153. Vending in residentially zoned districts.

  • A vending vehicle that sells prepared and packed ice cream, ice cream products, frozen dessert items and other similar food products intended or capable of immediate consumption may vend in residentially zoned districts of the city if the vehicle is motorized and required to be licensed as a motor vehicle under the laws of the state. No vending vehicle attached to a licensed motor vehicle by means of a hatch or other connecting device shall be permitted under this section. Vending of prepared and packed ice cream, ice cream products, frozen dessert items and other similar food products intended or capable of immediate consumption from pushcarts is prohibited.
