§ 32-353. Purpose.

The purpose of this article is to protect and encourage the protection of trees in the public rights-of-way; to provide for the public health, safety, and general welfare; to promote and preserve the city's aesthetic value; to establish a unified government tree board; to regulate and control the planting and maintenance of trees in the public rights-of-way.
