§ 36-20. Penalty.

The violation of any provision of this article shall be a misdemeanor punishable by fine not exceeding $1,000.00, by imprisonment for six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. The penalties provided for by this section are not exclusive remedies, any license is also subject to suspension and/or revocation pursuant to the procedures set forth in section 36-53 of this chapter.
