§ 36-80. Applicability of article.

(a)

This article applies to sales at public auction of precious stones, jewelry, watches, clocks, gold, silver, silverware and plated ware.

(b)

The provisions of the article apply to all such sales, except that such provisions shall not be applicable to trustees in bankruptcy, executors, administrators, receivers, or to public officers acting under judicial process.
