§ 37-65. Tags.

  • The license administrator shall issue a suitable tag or sticker for each livery vehicle that is licensed, except that the license administrator may accept a suitable tag or sticker issued by any other city, by any state or by any political subdivision with standards comparable to those set forth in this article. Such tag or sticker shall be displayed in a prominent place on each livery vehicle while it is in use. In addition, whenever two or more livery vehicle licenses are issued to the same licensee, each such livery vehicle shall have painted thereon a vehicle series number in a place designated by the license administrator.
