§ 37-96. Liability of licensee, owner, lessee, operator or driver.

Nothing contained in the policy or in any endorsement or in this chapter shall be construed to relieve the licensee, owner, lessee, operator, or driver, as applicable, of any vehicle from liability to pay damages to others for bodily injuries including death and for damages to or destruction of property by any person resulting from negligent operation, maintenance or use of such vehicle.
