§ 37-168. Duty to enforce compliance—Taxicab drivers.

  • (a)

    The holder of a taxicab business license shall establish policy and take action to discourage, prevent or correct violations of this chapter by drivers who are employed by or contracting with such licensee.

    (b)

    No holder of a taxicab business license shall allow a driver who is employed by or contracting with such licensee to drive a taxicab if the licensee knows or has reasonable cause to know that the driver has failed to comply with this chapter, the rules and regulations established by the license administrator or other applicable law.
