§ 4-67. Membership.

  • (a)

    The alcohol and drug fund advisory committee shall be composed of eleven members. The members shall be residents of the county at the time of their appointments and thereafter for the duration of their terms. The mayor and each commissioner shall make one appointment each to the committee. No member of the committee shall be an employee of or serve on the board of an agency or entity that receives any monies from the special alcohol funds of the unified government. All appointees shall possess familiarity with the subjects of substance abuse treatment and prevention.

    (b)

    The county administrator or the administrator's designee may serve as an ex officio member and may not vote, but shall assist the committee in performing its functions and provide such staff support as may be necessary.
