Editor's note

In the case of Grisby v. Mitchum , 191 K. 293 (1963), the provision of Ord. No. 43040, which prohibits the issuance of the license to a person who has paid the federal tax, and from which this section is derived, was upheld as within the city's legislative power to enact ordinances as a means to suppress gambling.
