§ 7-48. Registration of persons delivering animals to shelter.

(a)

The director of animal control shall not receive an animal into the shelter from any person unless:

(1)

Such person shall submit proof of identification; and

(2)

Such person shall give full name and place of residence, which shall be registered in a proper book kept by the director of animal control.

(b)

It shall be unlawful for any person delivering to or receiving any animal from the shelter to give any false information concerning the same.
