§ 8-249. Height and location.

  • (a)

    In the A-G agricultural district, only open perimeter fences no more than six feet in height shall be permitted to enclose open farm land. Residences in such zoning district may be fenced in accordance with the provisions of division 2 of this article.

    (b)

    An open fence no more than six feet in height is permitted anywhere on the property except within the sight distance triangle. Any fence not otherwise prohibited and no more than eight feet in height is permitted within an area demarcated by the property side line from the front and/or corner side yard required setback to the rear property line and across the rear property line.
