§ 8-537. Responsibility to abate.

  • The property owner, representative, tenant or other such person with control, occupancy or possession of real property shall be responsible for the abatement of any excessive growth of vegetation as made unlawful by section 8-535. Further, it is the responsibility of the property owner, representative, tenant or other such person with control, occupancy or possession to clearly mark, stake out or otherwise distinguish between trees, bushes, shrubs, flowers and ornamental or garden plants as compared to any excessive vegetation in the surrounding area.
