§ 8-538. Public officer; notice to abate.

The city administrator shall designate a public officer to be charged with the administration and enforcement of this article. The public officer shall authorize the investigation of violations of this article. If it is determined that a violation of this article is in existence, then the clerk or the clerk's designee shall send a notice of abatement to the property owner, representative, tenant or other such responsible person.
