§ 17-5. Ponds, excavations, depressions and pools along banks of Kansas River.

  • Any pond, excavation, depression or pool in which water may and does collect and stand along or adjoining the landward side of any part of any levee for the Kansas River or within 300 feet landward from any part of any levee constructed along any part of the bank of the Kansas River in the city is a public nuisance, and the maintenance of any such pond, excavation, depression or pool is hereby prohibited, except as permitted by section 17-4.
