§ 19-238. Substandard dwelling.

(a)

The public officer shall determine if a rental dwelling structure shall be considered substandard. In doing so, the public officer shall utilize the definitions, criteria and standards contained in this Code or incorporated herein by reference.

(b)

Pursuant to subsection (a) of this section, the public officer shall establish a written guideline upon which the determination will be based. A copy of said guideline shall be available for review and inspection in the unified government clerk's office, office of the license administrator and inspection services department.
