§ 19-391. Penalties and prosecutions.

(a)

Any person, partnership, or corporation who violates any provision of this article may be prosecuted by the district attorney in district court. If the district attorney has not conducted a prosecution for the same violation, any person, partnership, or corporation who violates any provision of this article in the city, may be prosecuted in the city municipal court.

(b)

The penalty for violation of any provision of this article shall be fixed by the court and shall not exceed imprisonment of one year or a sum of $2,500.00 or both such imprisonment and fine.
