§ 21-4. Mining map or plan required.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for a person to do any mining within the city without making or causing to be made an accurate map or plan of such mine, each excavation in said mine on a scale not exceeding 100 feet to the inch, showing the bearings and distances.

    (b)

    The owner, agent or operator of every mine shall cause the map to be accurately revised or brought up to date every six months.

    (c)

    The map shall be filed with the public works department and be open to public inspection.

    (d)

    The unified government engineer shall revoke the mining permit of any person violating or not complying with the provisions of this section.
