§ 727. Motion to adjourn.

  • In order to adjourn a meeting, a motion "to adjourn" shall be in order providing such motion is made at the ordinary or usual conclusion of business on the agenda and providing that motions to adjourn shall not be used to embarrass, to harass, to foreclose discussion and debate or for any other purpose other than orderly termination of commission proceedings at such times as may be appropriate in each particular meeting. Motions to adjourn shall not be debatable and shall precedence over any other motions at the end of meetings and any other actions except points of order or privilege.
