§ 31-160. Topographic maps and geology.

  • The design of a sanitary landfill shall include one or more topographic maps that shall have scale and contour intervals that clearly show the character of the land. These maps shall show:

    (1)

    The proposed fill area;

    (2)

    Any borrow area;

    (3)

    Access roads on site roads;

    (4)

    Grades for proper drainage of each lift required and a typical cross section of a lift;

    (5)

    Special drainage devices, if necessary;

    (6)

    Fencing;

    (7)

    Weighing facilities;

    (8)

    Equipment shelter;

    (9)

    Existing and proposed utilities;

    (10)

    Employee facilities; and

    (11)

    All other pertinent information to clearly indicate the soil characteristics, water table, plan for orderly development, operation and completion of the sanitary landfill.
