§ 32-209. Required for carriers.

No person shall operate any vehicle on the streets of the city for the purpose of transporting for hire unless a franchise authorizing such operation has been granted by the unified government. This section shall apply neither to vehicles operating in accordance with chapter 37 nor to vehicles operating under certificates of public convenience issued by the state corporation commission.
