§ 711. Formal reprimand.

  • In the event of indecorous behavior or improper conduct during meetings or remarks do not cease, when ruled out of order by the chairperson, the presiding officer shall be obliged to issue a formal reprimand and instruct the clerk not to include such reprimand as part of the official minutes of the meeting. If the presiding officer fails to issue a reprimand when such action is appropriate, any member may move such a reprimand which, if approved by the board, shall then be directed by the presiding officer to the clerk as a matter for record in the official minutes of the meeting.
