§ 2-384. Forfeiture of office.

  • Unless differently provided or required by federal, state or local law, any person appointed to any agency, board, committee or commission either created by or under the authority of the unified government or to which the unified government or any member thereof has the right or duty to appoint a person to said positions, shall be deemed without further action by the unified government to have forfeited said office upon failing to attend three consecutive meetings without providing prior notice of an intended absence to the chairperson of said agency, board, committee or commission. The chairperson shall forthwith report to the unified government clerk the name of any person upon the occurrence of three consecutive absences.
