§ 4-44. Purpose.

It is the purpose of this article to:
(1)

Establish an orderly process by which monies available to and appropriated by the unified government may be effectively and responsibly used to secure programs and services relating to alcohol use within this community.

(2)

Help secure the coordination of programs and services dealing with the use of alcohol that may now or in the future be provided by existing or by new public, nonprofit and private agencies.

(3)

Provide for the efficient and effective use of the financial and other resources that may be available within this community.
