§ 8-580. Duties.

The development review committee shall have the following duties:

(1)

Make a continuing review of existing ordinances, regulations and procedures within those departments and divisions that regulate exterior physical change within the city. Such review shall be for the purpose of periodic report and recommendation to the unified government board of commissioners for modification thereof.

(2)

Review of all proposals for public and private external physical change of land or structures within the city which are subject to regulation by ordinance to assure by appropriate means conformance with all ordinances, according to the terms thereof, relating to planning and zoning, building, fire prevention, plumbing and electrical codes, garbage and trash, and chapter 30.

(3)

Review preliminary and final development plans for planned unit developments and approval of final development plans for planned unit developments in conformance with chapter 27, article VII.

(4)

Review preliminary and final development plans for temporary wireless communications facilities-cell on wheels (COW).
